Highlights of 2012

I will be honest and say that I am not sad to see 2012 go.  

2012 did have it's highlights:

In January Molly got tubes put in her ears and she is a whole new child!  

In May we went down to Peoria for our annual Race for the Cure and bowling trip.  

We also went back down a few weeks later for my cousin, Rachael's, wedding.  

In June Coco came to visit!  We had a lot of fun and can't wait for her to come back!  

In July Grandma and Grandpa England came to visit.  

We took a little trip to Hayward, Wisconsin and stayed in a cabin.  

We also had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa here.  

In September Addison started Kindergarten at Gage!  

A proud yet tear jerking moment for Neil and I.  

We all celebrated our birthdays!  

Molly had her two year check up and is back on the growth chart for her weight.....a very happy day!  

In October we celebrated Nick and Kala's wedding!  Addison and Molly were flower girls.  

We also cheered on the Saint Mary's Woman Soccer Team.  

Molly learned her first cheer, Go White, Go Daddy, Kick Butt!  :)  

In November I got to spend a weekend with Kristin and Bethany! 

 It was nice to see them and shop, ride rides and talk without any forks or crayons flying!  

This month Neil and I took a trip to Chicago.  It was so nice to have a weekend away.  

We also had a relaxing Christmas.  

We have been enjoying being home playing and snuggling!

Their Very Own Chairs

Molly got a ladybug chair for Christmas and it has caused a few fights.  

Addison spent some of her Christmas money to buy herself a soccer chair.  

Now all is peaceful again!  :)  

Santa 2012

We went to see Santa at the mall again this year.  

Addison took her list and read it to him.  He signed it when she was done and luckily she got everything on her list!  . 

 Molly wasn't feeling Santa this year. 

Just like when Addison was two, Molly had to sit on my lap.  

Trolley Ride

Jake, Ali and Reid came last weekend to celebrate Christmas.  

My mom got us tickets to go on a trolley ride that took us around town to look at Christmas lights.  

The kids were excited to ride on the trolley and we even stopped at Santa's Workshop!

SNOW DAY!!!!!

Two days before Christmas break we got a snow day! 

We got to play in the snow for a while this morning before the winds started to really blow.  

Molly has a little trouble getting through the drifts.  

Chicago

Last weekend Neil had some recruiting to do in Chicago so I went along and we made a long weekend of it.  

We had a great time seeing the sights of Chicago!  

Can't wait to go back to take the girls and the in-laws!  :)

Young Artist

Addison's art teacher got to choose some artwork to be on display at the Edison Building.  

Addison's artwork was chosen because she did a nice job and she is always a role model student!  

We are so proud of her!

First Snow Fall

A few weeks ago we had our first snow fall.  

It was beautiful and the weather wasn't too bad so I took the girls for a spin around the neighborhood on the sled.
