One Tough Cookie

First off, I can't belive how big Molly looks in her winter coat (that we had to pull out this week).

This little girl never seizes to amaze me. From about 4 months old, I felt that something was not right with Molly. First, it was the milk protein sensitivity. Then it was maybe Celiac but we aren't sure-we will know when she is two. This little bug has had 5 ear infections in her short 14 months. She still is not sleeping and every night I am convinced something is wrong. Well this week we had a break through and I think we may be getting closer to an answer. My daycare lady and her husband found a common hernia. I was hopeful that this was it, this is what has been causing my little girl all that pain. Unfortunatly, her surgeon said it wouldn't cause that much pain but he seems to think that it could be acid reflux. Thankfully he made some calls and she will see a GI specialist sooner than her December 12th appointment because they will do and endoscopy at the same time of her hernia surgery. Her surgery will hopefully be in 2-3 weeks. She will have a 4-5 day recovery time.

I just pray that this is it, we get our answers and help Molly to feel better!

Boo! Run

While we were in Peoria, we did the Boo! Run. My mom and I ran the 5K and Addison did the kid's fun run.

I promise she wanted to do this!

Bouncy Ball

Addison got a bouncy ball making kit from her friend, Olivia, for her birthday. She loved making her first ball. Thanks for the great gift!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We headed to the pumpkin patch this past weekend and once again we had a wonderful time!

How tall this fall?

Look who is getting taller!

5 because she is 5

Notice that she has two shoes at this point....at the end of the corn maze, we were minus one shoe! A call to the lost in found is in order later this week!

Oh no, Addio and this guy ran straight into the hay!

(what a goofball)

Climbing Monkey

I knew that Molly needed something to climb on with the winter months coming. Luckily, her grandparents got her this climber for her birthday. She has already perfected climbing up the slide and then sliding back down. Thanks for the great gift (and for helping my sanity during the winter!).

Addison likes to gather all of her treasures on the top.

I'll Push You!

Now that Molly is walking, there is no stopping this girl!

One of her favorite things to do is to push Addison around.

On riding toys, that is!
Addison enjoys it too!

Did I mention that she gets pretty mad if you try to help her?!

No White Walls For This Gal!

Growing up, I always had to have white walls (although once I had light grey!). I vowed that my children could have any color on their walls that they wanted. Addison has a princess themed room and I wanted to give it something more. That is where Grandma England comes in! She painted this amazing mural on Addison's wall. How special is that? Every night, Addison says, I love my mural from Grandma.

Thanks, Grandma England!

So adorable!

5th Birthday

Miss Addison had a great 5th birthday!

She started her day by watching herself on the news in the Birthday Spotlight. Then she got to have cake for breakfast and open her presents! She celebrated with her friends at Jo-Jo's with mini cupcakes that she picked out. Then GG, Grumpy, Grandma and Grandpa Rochester came over for pizza and more gift opening. The next day her and I went up to the cities. We stayed in a hotel with a water slide and Ellie, Tate, Bethany and Matt came swimming with us. It was fun for the girls to swim together and it was fun for the Mommies to catch up! Neil met us there after a game in Moorehead. The next day we headed to the Mall of America to ride rides and go to the American Girl Store. Addison rode the log ride and a big roller coaster (she is 5 now!). Then Julie got her hair done, a new bag and matching jammies with Addison. What a blessed little girl! Thanks to all who helped make Addison's day so special!

She chose a Barbie cake this year.
