Sara and Emily

Aunt Debbie got Addison a fish tank for Christmas. When Addison and Neil went to get a fish she decided she needed two fish. We should have consulted our fish expert, Kristin, before we did this! The person at the store said that they would be ok together in one tank. The tank Aunt Debbie got was too small for two fish so we put Emily and Sara in a bigger tank. By that night we thought Emily was dead because she wasn't moving and was missing much of her fin! Sara had not been nice to her. :( We moved Emily into the smaller tank. Now all is peaceful! Addison loves her fish-thanks for a great gift, Aunt Debbie!

Living side by side rather than together!
*On a side note, I wish you could have seen Addison's whole outfit. Green dress from Bethany, butterfly shirt and rainbow leggings. She told me she was a nature girl in this outfit! As she says, "So Fashionable!" Where does she get this from?!

Christmas Eve

The plate of cookies and carrots is ready.
The hot chocolate is made
(and drank-hence the chocolate mustache).
Visions of sugar plums

are dancing in their heads.

Santa's sleigh has landed on our roof!

He left some presents for two good little girls.
Grandma England talked to Santa yesterday and asked him to pick up Addison and Molly's presents when he was in England. He brought them over in the green and blue bags. He also brought Addison's new princess toy box.
What lucky girls we have!
All ready for Christmas morning!
Merry Christmas!
We hope you have a Happy Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Dresses from Bethany

Bethany bought these adorable dresses for the girls when Molly was born. They wore them last night to our daycare Christmas party. Thanks, Bethany!

Playing in the snow

We had ANOTHER snow storm last Monday.
School closed early and opened late on Tuesday.
My mom had to stay the night so Addio and I got to go and play while Neil did the snow blowing. We are currently getting more snow, looks like we will for sure have a white Christmas!

Julie

Addison has been wanting the American Girl, Julie, for a while now. Grandma and Grandpa Rochester took her to the Mall de Merica last weekend to pick her up. She was very excited! Julie is being very well taken care of and Addison loves her!

Christmas Program

Addison had her Christmas program at school last Thursday. It was an adorable performance and of course Addio did great! Her tights caused her a few problems, that's our Addison! We were in the second row so I would like to apologize for the mystery lady in most of the pictures.

Her job was to put up the angel during the Christmas Story

Molly got her sheets with her name on them from Aunt Debbie!
Such a great gift to treasure forever!
Hopefully I can get a picture of Addison in the shoes that Aunt Debbie got for her for the royal wedding!

SNOW DAY!!!

Snow days are like a surprise gift!
We get to stay home in our jammies and snuggle all day!
Today was even better because we found out last night so we could sleep in (which means 6:00!).

Snowed In!

We knew a big storm was coming so we were prepared to be snowed in all weekend and it is a good thing we were prepared because we didn't get plowed out until 11:00 p.m. Sunday night!
Our deck door on Saturday morning.

The branch is just a few inches from touching the snow

So we made cookies

Sprinkles!
Now that we can get out, it is too cold! Wind chill is about -25.
I have a feeling it will be a long winter!
