Way back in December Addison and I took the trip to the post office to mail Christmas presents to England. A few weeks ago we got those presents back. Only Alan's presents were opened so we had to rewrap them. We took another trip to the post office yesterday to resend them but the lady said it is best not to send them because they did not arrive last time (too much insurance). Just think, you can celebrate Christmas in August and then again in a few months! Let's just say we will be Amazoning it next year. Tuesday, March 31, 2009

Enjoy the weather!
We hope that everyone had a nice weekend enjoying the spring like weather! Addison was excited to get out and use her sidewalk chalk. Neil pointed out to me today that we are 100 degrees warmer than we were 2 months ago! I am happy to be on this end finally! Enjoy and may it stay warm!
Update on the Big Girl Bed
This picture was taken last Sunday when Addison woke up from her first night in bed. She was very proud and wanted to have her picture taken. So far we have had no problems with the bed (hopefully it stays that way!). She does not realize that she can get out of it and I plan on it staying that way! Saturday, March 7, 2009
Day with Daddy
Taking a spin in her new princess sunglasses
Can you say wrapped around her little finger?! Addison told my mom that Stella ate her sunglasses (she did) and that her daddy was going to the store to buy her new ones. When Neil got home on Wednesday night Addison asked him to go shopping for new glasses. So Thursday, Neil and Addison spent the day together. They took a fied trip to Target. Addison came home with a new Easter hat, new sunglasses, fancy (lacey) socks, chalk, markers, a new Dora book with a little MP3 player like thing, and a Sesame Street book. So I think they went up and down the aisles and anything that Addison wanted was put into the cart. Needless to say, Addison had a great day with Daddy! Big Girl Bed
Addison and I were playing in her room this morning and she asked me for her big girl bed (Grandma Diane got her one for Christmas). She ran to Neil and told him to make her big girl bed. I came home this afternoon and Neil had put the bed together. Tonight we all said good-bye to the crib (I was the only one that was sad) and Addison is currently sleeping in her big girl bed. It has been an hour...I will keep you posted. She looks like such a big girl sleeping in it! As you can see from this picture, there is not a lot of room for Addison!
