The weather was pretty nice this weekend. We took advantage of it and went outside to play for about 5 minutes until Addio got too cold.

On Sunday we made some yummy green jello.

Update on Stella

Thank you for all of you thoughts and prayers. We were happy to pick Stella up from the U today. She was excited to see us and we were excited to see her tail wagging! We were sent home with a bag of medications for her. With all these medications we are hoping to get her back up to par. Unfortunately this may take 3-6 months. She does have to go back to our vet this week and have blood drawn to check her levels. This is something we will be doing a lot. :( Poor Stella!
Thanks again and we are just happy to have our little Stella home with us.

Stella needs your prayers

Stella has had a rough couple days. I came home from conferences on Thursday night and Neil said that Stella wasn't herself. I took her out and noticed that there was blood in her urine. Neil took her to the emergency vet and they thought maybe it was a UTI. She was sent home with pills and we were told to call the vet in the morning if nothing had changed. Friday rolled around and she was still lethargic and wouldn't eat (very uncommon for Stella). Neil spent a another two hours at our vet this morning and they told him to prepare his family for the worst :( They didn't have the right tools to help Stella so they recommended we take her to the U of M (the Mayo Clinic for animals). Our poor Stella is still up there trying to get better. They thankfully ruled out a tumor but she does have auto immune disease. Her body is fighting itself. The drs. are giving her a transfusion and many medicines to get her stable. It has been a crazy day but we are just hoping our Stella can get better.
